Anyone knows if there is a chance that this will be released as an update to Fremantle (Maemo 5) or if there will be a (documented) way to extend the current authentication methods with PAP?

My department (Computer Science at TU Munich) switched to EAP-TTLS with PAP as the last in a row now, too. It'll be a welcoming feature for all eduroam users worldwide (which there are many of). This problem exists since years on Nokia devices, so why not fix it?
