Is there any way to set this to produce a stop error instead of a reboot? I like to know when there is a problem and with a stop error maybe it could display more information for troubleshooting purposes.

The only problem with this is if it kept the display on... Come to think of it, wouldn't all the power management be effectively disabled in this case? A dead battery would defently be more annoying than a silent reboot.
