Nice way to alienate any develop who reads this. A lot of people (read, developers, they're people too) spend a lot of time and effort writing applications, and enabling them with features they might not use or find useful, simply because people request them. Attacking them with a "suck it up, you're just a coding animal" really isn't a very nice way of showing the respect they deserve. As always, features need to be weighed before they are considered into a project. Screen rotation is such a feature. Sometimes it can be beneficial, sometimes it doesn't make any sense at all. There's no unique rule, especially when you look at the wealth of different applications we have on this platform.
