I'm living in China right now and AFAIK China uses TD-SCDMA as opposed to W-CMDA (mainly b/c of Western patent issues..)

I am not too familiar with the different forms of 3G, but from what I've read, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA are both covered under UTMS. Am I correct? Assuming so, does the N900 fully support UTMS?

as a side note, I'd be happy to help with any Chinese translation for the n900 if I can get my hands on one over here
