I doubt it's ergonomically practical, but for the owner of a non-touch screen pc, this could be potentially very useful, since you don't have to purchase another accessory for your computer (typically priced $50 and up). In my case, I *have* a tablet pc (the Gateway C141XL), but the screen stopped working for some reason. Since it will cost me more to replace the screen/digitizer than buying a new laptop, I prefer to avoid that option. Also, I just want to use the input feature to input a lot of math formulas into Word documents (doing it through the symbols menu is truly a pain, and using the windows 7 math handwriting input makes it a breeze).

All that said, relating back to the original topic, this is not the ideal setup for a dedicated artist, who would probably want a more convenient, dedicated solution.
