Looks like either MPD were correct in stating the 16th and exclusive dispatch (alongside the nokia store,) or the MPD shippings will now be delayed another few days

1) Android does not give you privileged user access (there are ways to break the lock, but it is an 'illegal' procedure)
2) You must have a Google account.
3) You must develop in Java, for their specific virtual machine
1. Root access is not 'illegal' for Android, nor is it for the iPhone.
2. You do not need a Google account on many roms.
3. You can also develop in C, C++, Python, and Lua.
