I've got a strange symptom here. The "Offline mode" option has disappeared from the power button menu on my n800.

I installed OS2008 over a year ago and have not messed around in the command line at all. In fact, I haven't installed any new software in months. Still, the other day this very useful menu option went away, and has not returned despite powering off and on again.

Any clue what's going on and how to fix it?
