I want to know who Ash is. Why did he transform? Why does the "sugar cube" geek have a neck brace on? Why are they in that room? Why are people watching on the other side of the glass?

Cool special effects, though. I'd love to see some high resolution stills of the transformation, there's some interesting stuff going on in many of the frames...
