Oh, noBounds was always wireless, but it has also always required a fairly hefty decoding/processing unit on the receiving side. The initial demo video simply glossed over that fact.

I believe qole is simply questioning at what receiver size and price point does trying to offload processing from an underpowered handheld device using clever tricks stop making sense. There's some line that once crossed, makes it more logical to just buy an inexpensive, ultra small PC and run a VNC client on the handheld.
