You think so? Nokia could not have been blind to the fact a device with a form factor popularized by the iphone, with a bigger bread basket of functionality, stronger stats than any competitor that it would not cross over from geeks to dorks and mainstream consumers. Look at the early adverts. They were people going to concerts, and sms'ing, using location tools to find friends etc. there was no one doing a 'gotomy pc' or ssh'ing into their server.
