Pre-ordered this device from Nokia USA on Sept 6, which Inclded Device for $649, free shipping/BlueTooth wireless headset, added Nokia ext warrnty $19.99. After hearing a friend say they ordered this device 2wks ago From Nokia USA for full $649 with no deals, & recving it already, i called Nokia USA.. I was told that due to a firmware prblm with the (promotional/free) bluetooth headset, they would not be shipping my pre-order until the issue was resolved (??) I told them I didnt care about the headset anyway & could they please ship the device without it, they stated they could but I would have to cancel my original order & re-order, they said they would give me 15% off device without headset or ext warr price, but stated that I would keep my pre-order position for shipping (& had to pay for shipping now also), they said the needed to re-do original credit card info. After I provided that they said my card was denied (huh?) & I should call my bank, I gave them another card i had just used in case there was some glitch & they said that was n/g also, I should call the other bank too (what??) so I used my own merchant ID (i am a business owner) to verify my credit card worthiness & activity, credit was fine & NO recent activity (huh??), told Nokia USA this & they said srry, it was really a prblm on their end, that there were too many orders submitted for my shipping address (huh???) so now i was banned/lockd out from their system on some internal fraud alert of theirs (what????) that I should please try to submit order again in 3-5 days, & for full price/no deals thank you (wtf!!!).. can anyone say fraud? how about "bait & switch"?? I'm thinking about filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office in my State.. Maybe Nokia's horrible/lying customer service is why T-Mobile isnt picking up their device for subsidized distrubution, T-mobile made its name here in the US on great customer service.. Nokia can keep their device - Linux or not!!! bummer....
