wont matter.. I pre-ordered my N900 here in the USA from Nokia USA (ie-direct) on 9/6, that was 2 days after it became available for pre-order.. they just cancelled my pre-order because they stated the device had firmware/connection issues with a headset I never ordered/wanted, & wouldn't immediately take a re-order with a credit card I could buy a house with, simply, I'm guessing, so they could avoid their commitment..
Go to Nokia website & pay their current asking price (full boat/no deals), you'll get the product sooner then the rest of us, who btw over-inflated pre-order sales numbers on empty promises & helped Nokia stock from tanking worse then it already had, due to poorer then expected earnings & continuinly lost market share in the hottest/highest profit segmet (smartphones).. hype on a promising product will keep Wall Street in check for a little while, but failure to deliver that product will smooth that spike in short order..
