I aksed this question directly at the meet last night. The response was that the OVI maps for symbian and OVI maps for Maemo are completely unsynchronised in their feature set so no direct comparison can be made based on release numbers. I suspect this is much like Mac and Windows software releases - different feature sets for the same release number but versions out of sequence with one another.
