Webshop Customer Help says:
hi

Hi
Dexter says:
Hi I was just wondering if you'd heard anything else about when the N900 would be dispatched?
Webshop Customer Help says:
end of november
Dexter says:
I'd also like my complaint noted: I was previously told that the N900 would be dispatched on Monday 16th Nov, I understand that Nokia haven't sent you the goods, but if I hadn't come to try and talk to MPD on Tuesday 17th, I still wouldn't have a clue what was going on with my order. Is it really that hard for MPD to send out a mail shot to all people who pre-ordered, simply informing them that shipping has been delayed...
Webshop Customer Help says:
No its not, but we are trying to find out a date before letting people know
Dexter says:
as I have said previously I don't mind a delay, but the lack of communication coming from MPD is inexcusable! I was told on Tuesday that a mail shot was going to be sent out that very day, but still there seems to be a black hole where all the information is ending up!
Webshop Customer Help says:
All i can do is say sorry sir
Dexter says:
That's no excuse for poor communication, it's perfectly reasonable to expect an email simply saying "It's delayed, we don't have a date yet, we'll let you know when we have a solid date."
Dexter says:
Anyway, I just wanted my complaint logged.
Dexter says:
Thank yo for your help.
Dexter says:
Bye
Before anyone says anything, I realise I got a bit shirty with the person, but my gripe with with MPD's lack of communication! And they aren't easy to get in touch with, the Live chat has been hit and miss for a while, the phone number just gets you to leave a message and they simply ignore the Enquiry Form!

And as said in my chat "We are trying to get a date before emailling everyone", is not an excuse. You'd have thought that by 2-3 days past their expected delivery date, someone would have thought, "Hmmmm, perhaps we should let the pre-order people know that there's a delay". Someone quoted that MPD had 500 pre-orders earlier in this thread, I doubt all 500 read these forums (or this thread) and I even doubt most will successfully contact MPD, and will be wondering where the hell there phone is!
