sungrove, I understand this stuff in not very newbie-friendly but is in not in fact that hard. Just couple of clicks and some typing on your N800.

First - osso xterm and becomeroot means clicking this
http://maemo-hackers.org/osso-xterm.install
selecting open button and confirming installation will give you X terminal and then click this
http://eko.one.pl/maemo/dists/bora/u....1-2_armel.deb
which gives you ability to get root privileges.

After you have both packages installed, click this
http://fanoush.wz.cz/maemo/kernel_flasher.tgz
and this
http://intr.overt.org/n800-sdhc-kernel/sdhc-kernel.bin
and download to your N800 as described in already mentioned thread and post here http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...7606#post37606
To enter those commands open X terminal from Extras menu.
That's all.
