Good luck suing them, unless you have millions of dollars or are able to gather a large group to compile your resources to file a class action.

I totally agree with you, and under law a purchase is defined as 'monetary exchange for a product or service exchanged between two or more entities', but technically speaking they can call your pre-order a purchase since when you pre-order you're temporarily charged anywhere from $1-$5 to make sure your account has the necessary funds to complete the transaction once the item ships.

I hate it to, but it's a valid point they could make if someone did indeed bring a suit against them. Nokia doesn't have to honor anything just because someone say's they have to. I agree it's shady of Nokia, but let's try to use common sense when saying things.
