Finally went up there today after they called me at 10:30a. I was most excited, but because of the lighting ceremonies the Mile was PACKED but the Nokia Store was empty.
There was another guy there oogling it. It's a great device! I am having serious serious doubts about buying one (though the online prices are DEFINITELY worth the wait).
The device feels solid and, despite the resistive screen, very responsive. And I have fat fingers. The keyboard took some getting used to but it took getting used to from a Samsung BJ II to my current E71x.
Everything is as it is online. I didn't see the native Skype app installed. It was only on WiFi (not on their T-Mobile). Maps seemed -- well -- underwhelming compared to the likes of Google Maps but I am sure that will change at some point. It's very useful.
The web browsing, though, would be my killer app. Seriously the most beautiful and crisp browsing experience ever on a mobile device. Everything loads quickly (on WiFi) and renders perfectly in the sites I visited.
Will I get one!? I will make a decision within the week for sure. $500 is a lot to sneeze at...
