I do not think its premature to call and inquire for order status. Even if only a dozen where shipped out it means that dell is shipping. I think it makes sense for any one that has a preorder to want to know as to how these n900's are being allocated. If alot of customers call in to inquire than it would put more pressure on them to give us something more solid instead of just brushing us off.
