There are only two knowns:

1. Dell does not stock phones.
2. They ship from source, but have Dell invoice.

They do not like stuff on their inventory books if they can avoid it. All printers, phones, etc are through consignment. Even their Dell brand printers are made by Lexmark that Lexmark ships for them except for some rare bundle deals.
