Hmm, they have 10,000 in stock and if you cancel and rebuy it now you can still get it (that's good to know that means I may get my n900 from Amazon even though I only re-ordered on the 20th). Though I'm surprised that they only have less then 10,000 pre-orders at the moment. Something smells fishy about that..

But if you look at their pre-order guarantee it says nothing about electronics. So officially their policy doesn't apply to electronics. CSR may be bending the rules (but that's for each individual) or if the problem is bad (e.g. they are losing customers) they may bend the rule. But officially their policy is nope, they don't do it.

I guess you can keep trying till you find the lucky CSR.
