Now can people give me tips as to what the first things to do when I get my N900 are (hopefully friday) and post links to relevant articles?

P.S. I reallly can't find anything similar...

Any help would be great because I'm worried I'll probably f*** the phone up quickly by doing something lol (with BB/WinMo/Symbian I know how to fix it quickly so its ok but Linux/Maemo is brand new to me!)
1) Check the phone for defects.. e.g. it won't charge, the mic works (known problem), that you have all the space (should be 27 GBs of VFAT, 2 GBs of /opt, and say .7 GB for SWAP).

2) Enable Maemo extras for more application installation possibilities

3) add contacts and setup email and stuff

4) enjoy

"Meamo!" sounds like what Zorro would say to catherine zeta jones... after she slaps him for looking at her dirtily...
