It has to do more with read and write speeds. But from what I've been reading recently Class doesn't mean as much as it use to. Class is a standard for sustained read/write speeds so its possible that lower class cards can reach higher write/read speeds (but not sustain them).

Edit: Reviews are mixed about its speed. Everyone agrees that it's slow when writing to the card but they differ on reading.
Thanks. I'm getting the family new phones for Christmas and need several micro SD cards and those may fit the bill. Of course my phone needs one first.
