I pushed the two long finger clamps in the remaining two slots at the bottom, from behind and facing down. I think I had to file off a little bit for this. When mounted on the windscreen, the rubberised ends of the two claws rest on the dashboard giving a rock solid mount without scratching the dashboard (Honda Accord 2003).

The fit was perfect for the N770 giving access to all connectors at the bottom, I then added a few layers of self adhesive foam to the holder to accomodate the humped back of the N800.

I am oversensitive to scratches but this arrangement does not harm neither the dashboard nor the Nokia.
