Apples to oranges, since Droid is a great smartphone and N900 is a great pocket PC with phone function. I also do not see the Flash performance on Droid being better than the N900 and even if it is, it will be at least eight months to see. Android is app and resource hungry.

Even when you disable apps in Android 2.0, they STILL come back without prompting them to. I can tell when playing some of the game emulators when it happens. The games will get a little stuttery, I will go to task manager, and multiple apps are "magically" reloaded. The G1 does not do this, so it must be something to do with Droid and 2.0.

Had the N900 been a weak device, I may have considered dumping Tmo and going to Verizon for Droid, but:

$400 Tmo contract out (people were getting the new monthly plans to get out of this, but apparently Tmo has caught on)

$105 activation for three phones

$20 more per month

$212 for Droid

Going to Droid would be a higher investment and I would not get to experience a new platform for a device. IMO, Android reminds me too much of "big brother".
