in fact it is video/mpegts you want not video/mp2t with the tracker-register-mimetype

you would need to install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg to get the mpeg2 decoder.

however because there is no dsp accelerated mpeg2 i doubt SD recordings from your dreambox will play well enough. some tricks with not decoding all macroblocks etc can be done to optimise it.
