That's the problem with kinetic scolling in general. It looks nice on demo videos, but it's a PITA to use in real life.

We'll eventually get over it and have user interfaces again that are made for every day use cases. ATM, I'm afraid, we'll have to cope with designs made for the catwalk, not for a regular business day.
