Yes, that is one things that are different in the Maemo 5 and IMHO it's not for the best:

- the UI can't be controlled with the keyboard. You can't do alt-tab, you can't minimize windows, you can't scroll with the arrows, can't TAB to the next UI control, etc

- the UI itself doesn't support the old way of doing things with a mouse which sometimes it's faster than the new kinetic way. For instance if I have a really long list (like contacts or applications) it's much faster to grab the button on a scroll bar and go to the middle or end versus just scrolling with your finger again, and again and again until you reach that spot.
Especially when the gadget does have a stylus, I think UI should somehow let that use efficiently too.
