Not to mention weight - it's half a kilo, more than double the weight of a N800 (~200g). A good weight for a laptop replacement but far too heavy to be considered "Ultra Mobile" in my opinion. The screen resolution is also no better than the 770/N800 despite being 7 inches, and the CPU may limit what can be done also.

Even during the demo video above, you can see that quite a few Windows XP dialogs will fill the entire screen (even having the OK/Cancel buttons chopped off!) - XP is not really designed for 800x480 screens. And will Vista run on this thing - XP is so last year!

IMHO, UMPCs are potentially more of a "toy" than the 770/N800. Heck, has anyone got or seen a killer application for UMPCs? Other than niche markets, what mass-market segment is likely to be the target for UMPCs? Are UMPCs just another misguided Microsoft marketing concept? When will these Korean and Japanese manufacturers realise they'll never see a return on their investment? They seem to be carrying all the financial risk for a Microsoft concept - perhaps they should develop their own ideas in future!
