For those of us concerned about the rebate status (since Amazon may not get enough stock to ship to all the preorders before Jan. 7th). So it seems you have to ask them about that and if they don't get the device to you by then they'll honor the rebate (probably in the form of Amazon credit but I use their service often enough anyway). Remember, just because I got it doesn't mean you will automatically get it, you have to ask them about it. But this restored some faith in Amazon for me at least.
