Two things:

1. Australia is a close neighbor to NZ in the same way that Los Angeles a close neighbor to Chicago.

2. Not every kiwi who preordered an N900 acts like a petulant, entitled child. Seriously, just becuase you preordered a consumer device does not give you the right to demand it RIGHT NOW. Delays happen.
