OK tried all USB ports on PC (excessive I know) no luck. Tried another ubuntu system at it seems to be working fine. So will try again on this machine after reboot. Can't reboot at the moment too much running. Weird thing is it did not have all the folders that are listed in the N900 file manager. Is this normal?
