What brings you to judge whether I have the knowledge to "code and mess around"? I think I'll decide if it's appropriate for me or not. I'm just stating the points out (not necessarily on a person belief). If you look at the N900, & how it gets advertised on carrier magazines (at least in my country) you'd think it would contain a bit more of the phone-functionality which 2009 offers on other devices. It's just a shame imo. It could have been the killer of all killers. Geeks = Happy, Newbs = Happy = Nokia VERY Happy.
