After years(?) of successful functioning of my 770, it too has recently started an automatic "midnight" boot (even inside the case). The only thing I've done to it recently is a belated flashing of 49.2. I've looked into the possibility described earlier in this thread that there is some clock malfunction, but I've never used the clock and have checked to make certain that no alarm has been inadventently set. What a mystery, and annoyance. Now I can't leave my 770 unattended for several days while I play with my new N800. Anyone have any further ideas involving this new 770 problem?
