ah ok, so installing them through repositories makes them update themselves when updates are available, thats nice.

so basically there is no reason to not install them through repositories if you can, right?

where do i see what repository contains which app?
when i get my n900, i want to download gba, snes and nes-emulators. how do i find out what repository contains these apps`?
