The current codecs out of the box are picky, but I can get more to play than not from these types:

1. avi
2. divx
3. mp4
4. wmv
5. mpeg

That alone has four more than Android or Apples can play

The two things I would like to see released to the noob level repository are a codec pack and an EQ. Both are coming, just a question of "when".

Could somebody answer the "when" part?
