An update for anyone who read my post about using vpnc to connect to my work VPN.
Just a warning. If you connect to a Cisco VPN concentrator using vpnc while connected to a cellular network (i.e. - NOT wifi), the software will connect, prompt for password, and then appear to successfully connect while throwing an error. Afterwards you will not be able to work on anything inside your network, and upon disconnecting your DNS will no longer work. You can ping IP addresses, etc, but no DNS names will resolve.
I fixed it by reflashing but it is probably something that could be resolved in /etc/resolv.conf. I haven't checked because I don't want to attempt it again yet.
But if anyone has the balls, please try and let the rest of us know. You can get vpnc and the vpnc-gui from the maemo-devel repository, but remember, it's still in development if you try it.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has similar behavior when trying to connect via a cellular network.
