I ordered from Amazon on 2 Dec around mid-day. A day later, the estimated delivery date still showed "after 25 Dec." I e-mailed Amazon Customer Svs this afternoon (3 Dec) asking if that was accurate (with the polite threat that I may cancel my Amazon order and switch to Nokia direct if that was their real expectation). Got a prompt reply saying "Sorry, but we are out of stock. We'll update your status as soon as we get more in." I also got a "$10 promotional certificate" for my trouble. Pretty nice customer service if you ask me... Funny thing is, just less than 4 hours later (after 10pm Central), my order status got updated. Amazon tells me to expect delivery by 9 Dec. With my requested 2-day shipping, that means they expect to ship my order on Monday, 7 Dec. I'll be happy if that's the way it plays out! P.S. No credit card charge yet.
