Flashing is always an option to resurrect it.
the led doesn't exactly blink. it comes on for a few secs...phone makes a buzzing sound and i can see nokia on the screen without the backlight and then it goes dead again....this continues as long as it is on charge...else there is no response from the phone if i try to switch it on whitout the charger plugged in..
