I made a call to question as why some people got their pre-order shipped on 11/23 while I didn't. If the CSR can made a lot of excuses stories, I also could make up a stories. Here's what I told the CSR:
Me:Four of us pre-order N900 at the same time from DELL small business site. We own a small business and want to upgrade our equipments. Two of us have their N900 but I didn'tHe and the other one got his shipment date delayed to 02/2010. How is that possible?
CSR Immediately transferred my call to another CSR I assumed the supervisor.
Me: (repeat my story)
Supervisor: He explained about limited amount of N900 in the first batch and that DELL is not in control in the amount of N900 Nokia gave them.
Me: asking about when is the next shipment and want to make sure that I did not get delayed as the case of my imaginary friend. I told him my friends and I cannot delay the system upgrade any longer because it's bad for our business, we need all four of the N900
Supervisor: The next batch will be on December 2nd and he made sure that I get one. He even nicely ask if I know the order number of my imaginary friend.
Me: I told them I only know his name, will that help?
Supervisor: I am sorry, but we need Customer number, purchase ID, or order number.

That's my story and I only call them up once. But I confess that I refresh DELL page a bit too many Maybe that screwed up my order page.
