Ya Im kinda annoyed too, but there are others with much better battery life so that makes me think its some factor causing the issue not that the phone just has bad battery life.
An OTA could fix it if it is an issue with some processes running constantly in the background that could be causing the battery to die, or it is stuck trying to connect to the network in a weird way and that could be draining the battery too. Both could be fixed if an OTA took these things into account.

So eh I agree that it is messed up, but I truly love the phone minus this HUGE issue, so hoping we can come up with a solution together or Nokia/Maemo can handle it with an OTA.
