whats the point of having an all in one, when you can only use one function if you want half-decent battery life. I hate to say it, but certain competitors offer phones that have much BETTER battery life, without having to take that extra mile like getting a new sim card. These competitors also offer phones where you can actually use the widgets without it being a concern on battery life.

Honestly, as much as you guys say N900 provides more potential or functionality, it's all a moot point if you cant even use it all without having you're battery die on you less than half way through your day.

it's sort of like making a car engine with 2000 HP but not having the proper transmission, tires, brakes and car frame to support it. Basically paying extra money for...nothing...
I agree, we shouldn't have to turn off the key features of the phone to get it to have some battery life, absolutely dumb lol but its NOT all N900s so this is a glitch (which is an issue on its own that they didnt get this fixed before they started to ship but thats for another time), something that is not effecting everyone so we cant get mad that the phone was designed bad and just has a bad battery, other phones are better and close the book.
This is a reinvention of an OS and it was DEFINITELY rushed out so some glitches are understandable especially since the phone is still very hard to get a hold of still. But this is a big one...

All I care about at this point is getting it fixed
The thing is that Nokia/Maemo needs to fix it ASAP.
