That's too bizarre to be true.

Got my N900, inserted SIM and battery, turned it on to play with Wifi setting... phone rings. First call on N900!

"Hello, this is xxx from Nokia Care. We're sorry we had a problem with our mail system and your mail got kind of lost for two weeks, that's why we're calling you now. ..."

The guy was only mildly irritated when I burst into laughter. When I explained to him that he was my first call on my brand new N900, he laughed, too. He even offered to call me back later if I wanted some quality time with the new toy instead of talking to him

Oh dear.

(He couldn't solve my problem, though. He only confirmed it's a known issue with Ovi and they have no information on how to solve it other than deleting all settings and re-entering them sometimes helps. Sometimes.)
