Maemo overlords, I am seeing the same posts from new users about the N900. In order to make everyone's experience more smooth with the new device, could there be a post that highlights (just to name a few):

1. Setting the N900 in auto phone-activation
2. Getting the N900 in mouse-mode with the stylus
3. Setting the browser cache to 40mb to improve experience
4. Pointing out that clicking the full-screen icon on videos makes them run and look MUCH better- zooming does not.
5. Flash games perform better if you press down on the display to activate "low quality" mode- some do not have this, but most do.
6. Warnings about activating non-default repositories
7. Wifi can be improved by activating the medium setting- I am not noticing much difference in battery use, but the connection is MUCH better.
8. Be careful with widgets, since they can drain the battery quicker


Those are just some examples, but a big sticky (read-only) post about this should reduce traffic. The amount of posts here are deceiving, since the traffic here is less than it should be due to a constrained supply of N900's for launch. Once supply channels fill up, posts here will correlate in an exponential manner.
