I went ahead and ordered my N900 already (in-transit). I also ordered the N97 mini last night (in transit). I got the N97 from Amazon for $479 + the $50 rebate. I also used a $25 gift card I got so it wasn't so bad. I was a previous Iphone owner, but got sick of the DRM junk/Closed phone. These two phones will be my first Nokia devices with the exception of the old school devices back in the day.

I am living in Seoul, South Korea so i will use the N97 as my personal phone assuming it passes the KCC (FCC for the USA) tests. You can bring any phone to Korea if it works with their frequencies and use it for a fee. You pay the KCC around 150,000 won - 300,000 won ($130 - $285 - give or take), they test it, and if it's approved they will give you a certificate, which you can then take to the cell phone store and they will activate it for you. - They prob also place a bug in there, but oh well...haha

The N97 has the same specs (freq wise) as the 5800 XM and that phone is currently for-sale here. The 5800xm and old school Nokia Navigiation phone are the only two here.

I will use my N900 as a mobile computer (which is what it is essentially) and use the N97 as a real phone. I more or less wanted the N900 to just play around with. It's not supported here in Korea freq wise.
