It's a shame that the fanboys here refuse to accept that some people have had real problems with the hardware and software which comprises the N900. Pointing out problems or areas where there is a competitive disadvantage is a good thing on every other open source forum I have ever belonged to. It's how you improve. Nokia has admitted in a very low voice in very select places that the N900 is only step 4 of 5. It's not something you will see on their web site (searching for "step 4" turns on nokia and nokiausa turns up exactly one mention of it - in a comment on a blog). This, in and of itself, shows that Nokia thinks the N900 and Maemo 5 can be improved. Nokia has announced that they will support portrait mode and that they will fix a number of bugs in their next OS release. This shows that Nokia realizes that some missing features are important and that there are problems with the OS. If Nokia believes there are deficiencies in the N900 and Maemo 5, why in the world is it so negative for users to point them out here? Problems and deficiencies are to be expected. Find them and fix them. Don't ignore them and throw hissy fits if someone mentions them.
