Indeed. Recent advances include the possibility to transfer money between bank accounts electronically (as the e-mail I received from my bank informed me last week), and the idea to inform about waiting times in the NY subway.

We also have Bulgarian and Ukranian style housing over much of the south. Run down shacks "improved" with cardboard and plywood and backyards filled with rusty junk.
I feel compelled to add that Bulgaria and Ukraine were devastated by a world war, and then had an economically inviable political system imposed on their population. What is USA's excuse?

Unfortunately the N900 does not currently have any sort of faxing ability. You might consider using a service like e-fax for that (efax.com). That way you can email a document, from the N900, to your efax "fax machine" and itīll spit out a fax at the recipient.
