My n900 is working fine and all. But after seeing this thread:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=35196
I got curious as to my current firmware version.
I was quite surprised when I went to About Product...
NOKIA

Version: (null)
Wi-Fi MAC addres...
The mac's and imei show correctly, but my version number appears to be missing.
This is a production unit, I'm pretty sure at one time these numbers displayed correctly but not absolutely sure.
Is this going to cause a problem when we get a new firmware version?
Anyway I can restore whatever file it's pulling this info from?
Anyone else seeing this?
The only weird thing I remember doing to the FS is moving /usr/share/icons/ out of the pathetically small root partition and symlinking them back.
I've also installed easy-debian chroot, running from a ext3 formatted microSD.
