Hey, good to see you back. Quite alot has happened to the Nokia tablet and this community, users over 1000+ in a day is no longer news any more

2008He is quite different from 2007He. 2007He is more stable than 2008He and has decent audio output. 2008He is really for people that want to run a particular app but is NOT available on the 2007He, so it is some compromise. I have 2008HE on the internal flash and 2007He on the MMCboot. Here is a tabulation of apps on 2008He and 2007He, albeit, somewhat outdated.

I do see MORE postings about the 2008HE is unstable. Honestly I have not sees that much stability issue with me. I think it is really depends on what apps you are running. If 2008He runs fine for you, be it, use it. otherwise scale back to 2007He. I have both in my 770

Fun with rdesktop/vnc recently.

ALthough there are now 1000+ users around on a daily basis, still feeling ectastic to see old timers floating around,

Finally, 770 is really fun and is absolutely NOT dead......yet . However, the N8x0 has also come down in price and I STRONGLY recommand it, one can pick up an N800 for under $100 from ebay, now and then, and $140 for N810. The N8x0 is quite a natural extension of the 770,

On the other question, internet calling on 2008He is problems with the audio output and on and off see somebody tweak it and results is unknown. But the 2007He is complete working with Skype and other internet calls. As a matter of fact, I used it as my ONLY phone when travelling to HK and China couple years back.

cheers,

bun
