I am a proud new owner of an N800, and I installed the latest OS 2007 (3.2007.10-7) version already with no problems so far.
I installed openVPN from
http://guerby.org/ftp/nokia800-deb/
which seemed to install okay, but I am using a generated config file from my employer that seems to need comp-lzo.
if I leave the line with comp-lzo in the config file, I get this error msg:
Options error: Unrecognized option or missing parameter(s) in config.ovpn:11: comp-lzo (2.0)
If take it out, openVPN appears to run (asks for password, etc) but in the logs, I see this:
Tue Apr 3 23:12:21 2007 WARNING: 'link-mtu' is used inconsistently, local='link-mtu 1441', remote='link-mtu 1442'
Tue Apr 3 23:12:21 2007 WARNING: 'comp-lzo' is present in remote config but missing in local config, remote='comp-lzo'
I'm unable to connect to my remote session (this config works fine on my linux box). I'm not sure if the link-mtu warning is a problem as well. Any one have any experience with this?
Thanks!

oops - I found that I was calling the old install of openvpn in the /usr/sbin directory (didn't know it was there - I had installed in /usr/bin). I moved it out of the way, used the new one and am now working!
