just enter the following lines into the terminal:

sudo wget http://repository.maemo.org/stable/5.0/maemo-sdk-install-wizard_5.0.py
sudo chmod a+x maemo-sdk-install-wizard_5.0.py
sudo ./maemo-sdk-install-wizard_5.0.py

this will get you the GUI installer...
